About Amach le Dia
Emphases

A fully affirming space for worship.
A fully embracing fellowship.
A recognition of the gifts of LGBT+ people and the opportunity to exercise them.
An opportunity to share the inclusive gospel that really is good news.

As a statement of general faith, we adhere to the Apostles Creed (Ecumenical version)
I believe in God the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body
and the life everlasting. Amen

Our place in regard to the wider church

In particular, Amach le Dia recognises and celebrates the diversity of humanity. LGBT+ people should be given every opportunity to flourish as individuals and in relationship.
Christ’s love for all must be demonstrated in the church’s embrace of those who have often been marginalised. We seek to work alongside all who seek to make the beauty of God’s kingdom known in the world.
